In 2025, the International Ecological Dictation “EcoTalk” started for the 7th time in the fall and ended in the spring of 2026. The theme of this year’s dictation is “The planet is our common home.” She reminds us that the Earth is a blue pearl, and she is in Space! A fragile cradle of life, whose well-being is inextricably linked to the laws of the universe. This topic aims to expand our understanding of “home” beyond continents and oceans, realizing ourselves as part of a grand cosmic whole. Therefore, our dictation turned out to be ecological and cosmic, and therefore large-scale. More than 140 countries, more than 7 million participants – massive! All countries have environmental and space programs. But few people understand that this is a single comprehensive security program for each country, and since we are all connected, this is a single global security. Therefore, of course, it is not surprising that this is a women’s initiative – Elena Yesina and Olga Afanaseva.

A large-scale initiative aimed at creating an ecological culture through mass education, increasing environmental literacy and involving people in environmental initiatives. The project annually brings together participants from different parts of the world, emphasizing our common global responsibility for the preservation of the planet. The cosmos is inside us!

The project was held under the patronage of the Government of the Russian Federation, the State Duma of the Russian Federation, the Russian Academy of Sciences, diplomatic missions of states, educational institutions and other leading organizations and departments. Invited guests of honor: cosmonauts (Tokarev Valery Ivanovich, Yurchikhin Fyodor Nikolaevich), representatives of the State Duma (Deputy Nikolai Robertovich Buduyev and coordinator of the Subcommittee on the Protection of Lake Baikal Elena Matveeva), Heads of the University of World Civilizations (Rector Slobotchikov Oleg Nikolaevich and Vice-rector Bulavina Maria Alexandrovna) and many others who consider themselves responsible for life on Earth.
